This small group of hard working business and professional golf enthusiasts have work many long and untiring hours facing many ob-stacles to make this Tournament a success under the capable guidance of President Felbert Cobbs—a task that is nothing new for Mr. Cobbs who has produced as well as organized many Golf Clubs and Tournaments on the Pacific Coast. We take this opportunity of expressing our sincerest appreciation to Mr. Howard Capps, Host Pro of the Desert Inn Country Club and to Mr. Johnnie DiFlore of the Municipal Golf Course of Las Vegas as well as the many merchants and local citizens for their aid in helping to make this Tournament a success. We have endeavored to give you a type of Tournament that will be a credit to both the City of Las Vegas as well as the Valley View Golf Club and it is our every hope that your stay and visit to Las Vegas will be a pleasant and memorable one. Please feel free to call on any one of us if there is anything further we can do to contribute to your enjoy-ment. JAMES A.
