Fort Mojave Ariz. July 12 The Honorable Commissioner of Indian Affairs. Washington. D.C. Sir: I have the honor to state that in (fruassionce) of your request contained in letter dated July 3rd, I have written to W.W. Bass of Williams, Arizona. I will forward you copy of his reply as soon received. Your suggestion, I think is an excellent one, and I assure you I will leave no stone unturned in my efforts to obtain some of these children for Fort Mojave school. And I will also be glad to have charge of the distribution of supplies that may be given. To these people, for although it will make me extra work, it will at the same time put a lever in my hands which I can use to some advantages.
