I agree.May 9, 1980 TO: NED DAY, Valley Times FROM: Mimi Katz, League of Women Voters RELEASE: Thursday, May 15 League Installs New Officers The League of Women Voters will install their 1980-1981 officers at their annual meeting to be held on Saturday, May 17 at 1:00 p.m. at the University Center for Religion and Life, 4765 Brussels Avenue (just south of UNLV). A special film on low level radiation entitled "So You Want To Be In Pictures" will be shown by Alice Locicero, Ann Zorn and Marion Sumners who have been gathering information on this timely subject. Another feature of the afternoon's activities will be an award pre?sentation to a League member for her outstanding work in the community. Special mention should be made of the fact that this is the 60th year of the League's existence which was originally proposed by the National American Womens Suffrage Association in 1920. All League members and anyone interested in joining will be most welcomed to help celebrate this prestigious tradition of the League. More information can be obtained by calling 385-7084.
