There is no way I can properly thank the over 250 of you who struggled through the last eight weeks of Nat?s life with me. She was astounded at the number of people who were co^^cerned and cared for her. I can remember her saying that we had good friends, but it seemed to be a small circle. I think that before she died she came to see that the circles were small, but there were so many of them. Then when she was gone and the cards and contributions came in I realized that the ?Temple? Part of her heart must have been labeled CNT because CNT has been a part of her since we held the first meetings in people?s homes in 1974. She ran the first ?gift shop? when we met at the old West Charleston Baptist Church. Tou notice ?gift shop? is in quotes. We had a huge steamer trunk containing the entire product line. Each week we shlepped this to sendees and laid the items out on a blanket so people could buy Judaica products. Later she served on the Board at least twice as I remember it. At one time or another she participated in just about every activity in Congregation Ner Tamid. Her CNT family was as dear to her as her own family. Natalie Shaw loved her family, her friends and Congregation Ner Tamid. On behalf of my children, grandchildren and great granddaughter, please accept my love and thanks to you for helping make her life what it was. Gil Shaw Through a generous grant from the UJC/LVJF we are proud to be able to offer this once a month service for those who wish to attend Shabbat service but are unable to drive. Please contact Shirley Kouffman or Bernie Deutscher by leaving a message at the temple office, 733- 6292 ext 224.
