This will create a new position at the school. I suggest that the shoe maker be paid a salary of $840 per [not legible]. I desire also to make a slight change in my bid of employee recommended April 4 [not legible]. Therein I suggested that I be allowed one Indian farmer at $300 and rations, and asst. Farmer, [not legible], and one gardener. [not legible] salaries of $180 each and rations. I have been unable [not legible] to [not legible] of any Indian intelligent and trustworthy to take charge of farms and stock and therefore request the following changes; one white farmer at $840 per [not legible] and [not legible] Indians [not legible] at $20 and ration.
