This list [not legible] all of last year’s employees except Mr. Hart the farmer whose place is filled by an Indian, and Mrs. [not legible], the cook who on account of her health, I believe does not wish to remain in that position. She is now in Santa Monica and I am unable to obtain her written resignation at this time.
