    Fr. Mojave, Ariz. July 28. The Honorable Commissioner of Indian Affairs Washington D.C. Sir: I have the honor to request authority to engage Indians to each and pile three hundred. 2 for ends of wood to be used at the school during the fiscal year 1891. Hereinfore the wood used at this Park has them extracted for and has never been obtained for less where about $5 per wood. We have a “Hay and Wood Reservation” three miles distant upon which there is plenty of wood and by engaging the service of Indians the wood used at this school need as each and $[not legible] per [not legible] Very respectfully, S.M.M Cowan Supt.
