Fort Mojave, Ariz. June 23rd The Honorable Commissioner of Indian Affairs Washington D.C. Sir: I have the honor to inform you that owing to the excessively hot weather I concluded to close school on Friday the 19th inst. Our last day was devoted to the reordering of appropriate exercises consisting of songs, recitations, dialogues, gymnastics and field sports. The school acquitted itself in such a manner as to surprise and delight about 20 invited white guests and nearly 200 Indians
