Bonnie McGaugh was born to Gladys Park and Wilbur McGaugjh in Los Angeles, California on July 30, 1921. Her parents worked in Hollywood, both as actors, and her father later as a director. Her parents divorced by 1940, and Bonnie lived in Van Nuys with her mother. McGaugh began working in entertainment and performed in Las Vegas, Nevada in the 1940s and as an ice skater under the name Bonnie Scott. She purchased property in Twentynine Palms, California and raised turkeys. She met Al Levinson in 1952 and moved to Nevada. She purchased the ranch property and by 1958 charged admission for picnics at the Bonnie Scott Ranch. By 1961, she renamed it Bonnie Springs Ranch. She and her husband Al developed the ranch and Bonnie developed a petting zoo. She lived at the ranch until her death on January 29, 2016.
