William "Bill" Laub Jr. was born in Pasadena, California on April 6, 1951. He moved with his family to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1958, and his father was the CEO of Southwest Gas Company. Laub Jr. served as a trustee for KNPR Radio in Las Vegas, Nevada and was an active participant in the grant that established the radio station in Las Vegas, Nevada in 1977. He also worked for the Las Vegas-based gas company, Southwest Gas Company, from 1978 to 2016, where he provided industry advice and analytical support.

Mary Laub and husband William “Bill” Laub first came to Las Vegas in 1954, eventually establishing permanent residency with their five children four years later. Mary founded the Las Vegas Assistance League chapter in 1976, serving her community through this organization for decades after. Her concern for the viability of Assistance League led her to start a thrift store to finance organizational operations, as well as solicit donations from entities like the Reynolds Foundation and Andre Agassi Foundation.

Rabbi Mendy Harlig was born and raised in the Crown Heights section of Brooklyn, New York. He was ordained as a rabbi in 1996. He moved to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1998. Rabbi Mendy Harlig is the spiritual leader of the Chabad of Green Valley, later renamed Chabad of Henderson. He was introduced to the Las Vegas community in 1990 by his brother Rabbi Shea Harlig. Hasidic Judaism has surrounded Mendy since his youth in the Crown Heights section of Brooklyn. He seemed destined to become a Chabad rabbi.

Ellis Landau is a member of the board of trustees of the Nathan Adelson Hospice in Las Vegas, Nevada. He is the former Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Boyd Gaming Corporation and served as a financial executive in the gaming and hospitality industries for more than thirty years. In 2006 Landau was honored as "Man of the Year" by Temple Beth Sholom in Las Vegas. He served as the temple's president from 2009 to 2010 and is a founder of its Warsaw Memorial Garden.

John Graves was born in San Diego, California and moved to Las Vegas, Nevada around 1967. He worked as a dice dealer and blackjack dealer.
