The University of Nevada, Las Vegas Photograph Collection (approximately 1900-2004) depicts the development of the university and the city of Las Vegas. The collection includes images of campus buildings, student activities, sports teams, past university presidents, and Las Vegas in the early twentieth century. Early images depicting the surrounding area are included in this collection as well.

Generally, materials are transferred from UNLV Photo Services to UNLV Special Collections and Archives 5 years after they are created. This finding aid contains the photographic negatives and contact sheets produced by the University of Nevada, Las Vegas from 1980 to 1989 as an official record of the institution's development, activities, and community. Clients include UNLV colleges and departments, the University's administration, the UNLV Foundation, athletic departments, and the Nevada System of Higher Education (NSHE). Images include academic activities, athletic events, faculty and administration, student life, campus life, campus development and architecture, and public relations.

The Nevada Southern University Football Scrapbook (approximately 1960-1968) contains one scrapbook with newspaper clippings highlighting Nevada Southern University's (NSU) men's football team, the Rebels, during the 1968 season and features players such as Mario Aguero, Bill Casey, John Hall, Jim Mathis, and Jimmy Thompson as well as NSU football coach, Bill Ireland. The collection also contains loose newspaper clippings about NSU football and tickets to the inaugural football banquet.
