Las Vegas School, grades K-8, 1924. Las Vegas School previously housed all grades, including high school students in a separate wing during the early 1900s. Research suggests that the high school was later separated into a different building. That school, named Clark County High School and then renamed Las Vegas High School, was constructed in 1917.
The Southern Nevada school, college, and university photographs depict schools in Las Vegas, Nevada from 1962 to 1994. The photographs depict the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV), Nevada Southern University before it became UNLV, St. Viator Catholic School, the Clark County Classroom Teachers Association, Las Vegas High School, and Rancho High School.
