Kaufman, Herb, 1930-2010

Herb Kaufman (February 18, 1930 – April 6, 2010) was a Las Vegas, Nevada businessman and president of Temple Beth Sholom from 1979 to 1983. He was born in St. Louis and moved to Las Vegas in 1965, where his career included operating Wonderworld Stores, partnering with Johnny Carson to purchase KVVU TV-5, and pursuing several independent business ventures. Kaufman served on many philanthropic boards, including: the American Cancer Society, Sunrise Hospital, Easter Seals, and the Clark County Housing Authority.

Kishner, Joanna S.

Joanna S. Kishner was born in Las Vegas, Nevada on June 27, 1964.

She and her husband were married at Temple Beth Sholom—the temple where she had her bar mitzvah and where she raises her own children in the Jewish tradition.

Judge Kishner has been recognized for her legal work throughout the years, this includes pro bono work for disadvantaged children through the Children’s Attorney Project.

The Henry Kronberg Papers is comprised of photographs, newspaper clippings, and business records from 1945 to 2017 that document Henry Kronberg's business, Stoney's Pawn Shop, his personal life, and his involvement with the Jewish community in Las Vegas, Nevada. The collection also includes A Place of Hope, a documentary about the Warsaw Remembrance Garden at Temple Beth Sholom in Las Vegas featuring Kronberg.
