Abstract
The Dennis McBride Collection on Las Vegas, Nevada LGBTQ Organizations (approximately 1984-2008) contains photographs, magazines, and documents relating to various LGBTQ organizations and events in Las Vegas, Nevada. Photographs of prominent community members, including Strutt Hurley, William "Bill" Schafer, Rob Schlegel, and Dennis McBride attending events such as National Coming Out Day and pageants organized by the Southern Nevada Association of Pride, Inc. (SNAPI). Also included in the collection are magazines, newspaper clippings, and documents relating to various issues such as Nevada's "Question 2", a ballot measure that prevented same-sex marriages from being conducted or recognized in Nevada; offical reports on the AIDS epidemic; and student organizations like Students for an Equal America (SEA) and Human Understanding Despite Differences Lifts Everyone (HUDDLE). This collection also contains digital scans of some of the photographs in the collection.

Scope and Contents
The Northwest Coast regional subject files include materials about Native American communities and gaming in Washington and Oregon (1859, 1970, 1985-2007). The materials include socioeconomic reports, tribal-state gaming compacts, gaming ordinances, journal articles, court opinions, Dr. Spilde’s research photographs, newsletters, informational packets, promotional materials, materials on fishing rights, press releases, video recordings of televised programs, memos, and newspaper articles.
The Northwest Coast subject files focus primarily on Native American gaming and non-gaming topics in Washington State, but also covers the same issues to a lesser extent in Oregon. The materials document a number of Native American nations, particularly the Tulalip Tribes of Washington. The subject files contain materials about Native American community issues such as gaming, sovereignty, and hunting and fishing rights. Gragson's professional and personal papers, and include correspondence, files concerning Gragson's tenure as Mayor of Las Vegas, Nevada, arbitration documents from disputes between labor unions and Las Vegas casinos, committee notes, financial plans, and documents from Clark County and Las Vegas government departments. The collection also contains city development plans, environmental reports, political party documents, memorabilia, ephemera, photographs, awards, newspaper clippings, and scrapbooks.
