The Central Nevada Historical Society Photograph Collection (1880-1982) contains photographs from central Nevada towns, mines, and railroads. The photographs primarily depict events and mining operations from the early-twentieth century in or around Tonopah, Goldfield, Belmont, Manhattan, Montezuma, and Big Smoky Valley. The photographs also depict the Tonopah & Goldfield Railroad, the Las Vegas & Tonopah Railroad, the "Priscilla" nuclear bomb test at the Nevada Test Site, horse-drawn freight carriages, and building construction. Other towns also featured in the collection include Silver Peak, Bullfrog, Rawhide, Ellendale, Columbus, Berlin, Palmetto, Gilbert, Blair, Klondyke, Wahmonie, Diamondfield, Miller's, and Candelaria.

The Doris Hancock Photograph Collection (1882-1987) contains photographs of Las Vegas, Nevada educator Doris Hancock and her family. The collection includes images of Southern Nevada and surrounding areas, particularly the mining town of Rhyolite, Nevada, the Colorado River, the Hoover (Boulder) Dam, Red Rock Canyon, early Las Vegas, and Death Valley, California.

The material is comprised of the organizational records of the Imperial Royal Sovereign Court of the Desert Empire and its predecessor, the Royal Barony of the Desert Empire, from 1997 to 2003. The records contain administrative and financial records such as charters, bylaws, financial reports, meeting minutes, correspondence, and publicity documenting the club’s activities in Southern Nevada.

The Muriel Stevens Papers (1969-2006) consist of materials documenting Stevens' career as a television cooking show host and newspaper columnist in Las Vegas, Nevada. Newspaper articles, correspondence, ephemera, certificates, and photographs provide information about her career, and to a lesser extent, her personal life. The collection also includes publications and records documenting the Nevada State Dairy Commission and the Las Vegas hospitality industry. The Video Recordings series consists mainly of episodes of the Muriel Stevens Show.

The Ida Brewington Pittman Papers date from 1906 to 1977 and contain personal and professional correspondence, ephemera, photographs, and newspaper clippings relating to the life of her husband, former Nevada Governor Vail Pittman. The newspaper clippings also include information about oil wells and the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) in Nevada.
