The Hollywood Gambling Movie Poster Collection (1934-1997) contains film posters, lobby cards, and photographic prints that feature gambling, casinos, or Las Vegas, Nevada. The posters were collected by Steve Lott, CEO of the Boxing Hall of Fame, and include four different sizes including one-sheet posters, three-sheet posters, lobby cards, and 8" x 10" film stills. Archival Collection
The William Thompson Collection on International Gaming dates from 1928 to 2016. The collection materials relate to gaming in the British Isles, Europe, South America, Central America, the Caribbean, and North America. The collection contains travel brochures, memorabilia, research notes for William Thompson’s published works, reports on gaming statistics, and photographs and slides from his research trips. Materials also include Thompson's personal collection of gaming industry specific magazines, law review journals, and books with Thompson's personal annotations.
Archival Collection
Materials include state, federal, and international legislation concerning gambling, news reports about gaming regulation, and reports about gaming from 1948 to 2005 collected by Eugene Martin Christiansen. The materials are primarily comprised of news articles, reports, and legislation concerning legal gambling in the United States at the state level. The materials also include news reports about gambling in various countries and how the governments of those countries regulate legal gambling or enforce bans on illegal gambling.
