Scope and Contents

Footage opens with multiple takes of an actor dressed in "cowboy" attire, carrying a saddle through the desert, then riding on a horse-drawn buggy with another man in cowboy boots. The men are pretending to lasso and whip the horses driving their buggy, and periodically switch off driving and lassoing. Switches to a close up of a man wearing an "El Rancho" belt buckle, gun holsters, and chaps; the camera is focused on the man gesturing to the camera, showing the coins in his hand. Various other scenes related to this western-cowboy themed promotion are shown. Video cuts in an out, no audio. Second segment begins around 26:00 and is multiple takes of an actress in costume as an owl motioning her arms and responding to voiceover cues (close up only); the advertisement is for Castaways "night owl" special for $1.99. The camera then pans out and she is posing and dancing to music, her costume includes feathers on her arms to look like a bird's wings. Original media 1 Inch SMPTE Type B, color, aspect ratio 4 x 3, frame size 720 x 486.
