Abstract

The Virginia Logan Photograph Collection contains photographic prints, negatives, and slides primarily depicting Nevada between approximately 1900 and 1940 with a focus on Las Vegas and its local landscapes. These photographs were taken by Glenn Davis.

Dale sits with his glasses on, turning knobs on the radio equipment. Inscription with photo reads: "The Dale Dorothy 'Ham' outfit. The only communication out of Pahrump at that time. Dale directed airplanes lost over Pahrump. His "rig" worked stations all over the world. He is [sic] shown a mother how to talk to her son in the South Pacific.
