The Nick Pratto Photograph Collection contains black-and-white photographic prints and negatives of Las Vegas, Nevada between approximately 1930 and 1950. The collection includes images of the 1940 and 1945 Helldorado parade, James Cashman Sr.'s Desert Love Buggy, and views of Gilmore Gas Station located at Fifth Street and Bonneville Avenue in 1934.
The Celia Rivero Grenfell Family Photographs depict the Rivero Family in Las Vegas, Nevada from 1917 to 1950. The photographs depict Celia Grenfell’s parents Francisco and Margarita Rivero as well as their children and relatives. The photographs also depict businesses in Las Vegas, including Frank Romero’s restaurant and the Elko Rooms hotel.
The Stanley W. Paher Photograph Collection consists of black-and-white photographic prints and corresponding negatives. Images include scenes from the towns of Goodsprings, Goldfield, and Las Vegas, Nevada. The Goodsprings and Goldfield, Nevada images date to 1926; the Las Vegas images date to 1966.
The Mallory H. Ferrell Photograph Collection (approximately 1900-1935) is comprised of nine black-and-white photographic prints depicting railroads, locomotives, and mines in Tonopah, Nevada and Tecopa, California.
The Victor Kunkel Photograph Collection (approximately 1890-1943) consists of black-and-white photographic prints and negatives, dating primarily between 1940 and 1943. The majority of the images depict the construction of Basic Magnesium, Inc. (BMI), in Henderson, Nevada; the remaining images depict a variety of locations and events in Kunkel's birthplace, Winslow, Arizona.
The Dorothy Casner Evans Photograph Collection (approximately 1930-1979) consists of black-and-white and color photographic prints, negatives, and slides. The images primarily depict Dorothy Evans, Dave Roberts, and Ellen Roberts in Tonopah, Nevada. Also included are images of people transporting their homes using flat-bed trucks to different locations in Tonopah.
