The Stella Champo Iaconis Collection of Helldorado Photographs (approximately 1934-1940) contains four black-and-white photographic prints of the Helldorado Days celebration held in Las Vegas, Nevada. Images depict people celebrating at the Apache Bar in downtown Las Vegas.

The Anna Dean Kepper Papers (1903-1924, 1965-1983) contain records, correspondence, photographic slides, research notes, newspaper clippings, and audiovisual tapes, as well as Kepper's research notes, drafts, and transcribed oral history interviews that she used for her thesis on the Fusileers in Ostego County, New York. She was the Curator of the Special Collections and Archives Department in the University of Nevada, Las Vegas Library from 1973 to 1983.

Harold Henry James "Hal" Erickson was the second Director of Libraries for Nevada State University, later known as the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV). He came to UNLV in 1965 and began expanding Special Collections to include many gaming, Southern Nevada, and local history collections. He retired in 1993 after many years of service on local boards and his dedicated library work.

Thomas C. Wright was born to Lucille and John S. Wright on November 6, 1941. He moved to Las Vegas, Nevada with his family in 1956. He did his undergraduate work at Pomona College, with his junior year spent in Peru at the University of San Marcos. He went to the University of California Berkeley and earned his MA and PhD in history. He began teaching at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas in 1972. He studied and taught on Latin American history, authoring several books and articles. He retired in 2011.
