Oral history interview with Jan Corash conducted by David Schwartz on July 13, 2007 for the Remembering Jay Sarno Oral History Project. Corash talks about her uncle, casino developer Jay Sarno and more broadly, her extended family. She explains her grandparent's origins in the region of "The Pale" between Poland and Russia, how they immigrated to United States and the birth of Sarno and his siblings. She continues with a deeper discussion about sibling rivalry between the Sarno siblings, and how the personality traits that Jay Sarno learned from his family translated to his dealings with others. She discusses the family's connection to the mob, the fact that both Jay Sarno and his brother Herman were brilliant individuals, and the impact of all these things on Jay Sarno's hotel development plans.

Oral history interview with Bruce Eaton conducted by Jay Brewer on April 24, 1975 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. Eaton discusses his employment as a laborer for Six Companies during the construction of the Hoover (Boulder) Dam and the racial conflicts that occurred. Eaton also talks about a federal investigation he was involved in that involved suspected espionage. Other topics that Eaton discusses include his enlistment in the United States Navy and his role as city manager of Boulder City.

Oral history interview with Sherwin Garside conducted by David Anderson on March 25, 1976 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. Garside discusses his father’s newspaper business and his personal knowledge of the early mining that took place in different parts of Nevada. He also talks about living in the town of Tonopah, Nevada, the Native Americans who lived in the area, and his experiences from living in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Oral history interview with Guy Hamblin conducted by Barry Merrell on February 22, 1975 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. Hamblin discusses moving from different towns in Nevada before settling down in Southern Nevada, viewing the above-ground atomic bomb tests, early Fremont Street, and his work on the railroad. Hamblin also discusses the demographic and economic changes that he has seen in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Oral history interview with Marianne Carpenter conducted by Jim Campbell on March 02, 1977 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. Carpenter recalls the crash of Carole Lombard’s plane, the early above ground atomic tests, pollution, and other social and environmental occurrences that have taken place in Las Vegas, Nevada. Carpenter also discusses the Helldorado Parade, the Downtown area, and the Mesquite Club. Lastly, she offers an overview of her experience working for Nellis Air Force Base and her job at the Enviornmental Protection Agency (EPA).

Oral history interview with Mahlon Brown conducted by Claytee D. White on December 16, 2003 and January 13, 2004 for the Boyer Early Las Vegas Oral History Project. Brown discusses his career as a policeman in Washington, D.C., during the 1960s, an attorney in Las Vegas, Nevada along with Jack Anderson in the Las Vegas Welfare Rights Movement, and as a Justice of the Peace.
