The Nevada Gaming Fiftieth Anniversary collection consists of materials dating from 1981 related to the fiftieth anniversary of the legalization of gaming in the state of Nevada. Included in the collection are programs, invitations, and memorabila commemorating the fiftieth anniversary that were collected by the University of Nevada, Las Vegas Special Collections.

The University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) Graduate College Records (1959-2001) primarily contain graduate program reviews, as well as correspondence, meeting agendas, and meeting minutes pertaining to various UNLV academic departments, administrative offices, and committees. Also included in the collection are program proposals, handbooks, policy manuals, research funding proposals, curriculum and instruction documents, brochures, and newsletters.

The Dorothy Ray Photograph Collection on Southern Nevada, approximately 1900-1946, depicts infrastructure in Caliente, Nevada in the early to mid-twentieth century. The collection also contains images of a flash flood that occurred in 1905 in Carp, Nevada and Stine, Nevada that washed away roads and railroad tracks. This collection provides historical documentation about early to mid-century Caliente, Nevada.

The Southern Nevada Daughters of the American Revolution Records primarily document the activities of three Southern Nevada chapters of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution from 1950 to 2024. The materials center around the records of three chapters from Southern Nevada: Old Spanish Trail, Francisco Garces, and Valley of Fire. Materials include administrative records, scrapbooks, photographs, news clippings, and correspondence about the activities of the Daughters of the American Revolution chapters. Mateirals also include some records and scrapbooks from the Nevada State Society of DAR.

The University of Nevada, Las Vegas Theses, Dissertations, and Honors Papers (approximately 1967-2024) contain the physical copies of the theses, dissertations, and honors papers filed by students of the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) from 1967 to 2024. There are approximately 5,756 titles that originate from a wide variety of departments across the UNLV campus, including (but not limited to): history, criminal justice, fine arts, engineering, and the sciences. Electronic theses and dissertations (2017-2020) were transferred to UNLV University Archives for preservation purposes and are not accessible through Special Collections.
