From the Nye County, Nevada Photograph Collection (PH-00221) -- Series III. Beatty, Nevada -- Subseries III.C. Revert Family. The system was owned by the Revert brothers. Photograph appeared in conjunction with an article on the Revert brothers in Minute Man Magazine.
The Staley Family Photograph Collection on Beatty, Nevada is comprised of photographs of Beatty, Nevada from approximately 1938 to 1944. Photographs depict the Staley family, their family home, and the family-run El Portal Motel in Beatty.
The collection contains materials (1967-1991) collected by Sheilagh Brooks predominantly during her time serving on various boards and committees under the Nevada Division of Historic Preservation and Archaeology. Materials include agendas, meeting minutes, correspondence, administrative reports, policies, budget plans, grant applications and guidelines for various federal and state departments. The collection also contains the applications of Nevada sites for the National Register of Historic Places.

Inscription with image says, "Whatever is required for vacationing pleasure, you will find it at Lake Tahoe. Just across the Nevada border, from California at State Line, are the exciting casinos and gaming clubs open 24 hours a day. Their nightly shows feature big time entertainment."
