The collection consists of records created by the University of Nevada, Las Vegas Department of Philosophy (1966-1988).

The Southern Nevada Telephone Company Collection documents the history of the company from 1957 to 1966. The collection includes photographs and internal publications that illustrate the company's growth and role in Las Vegas' history. It also contains a photocopy of A History of the Southern Nevada Telephone Company, 1907-1961.

The University of Nevada, Las Vegas Office of the Registrar Records (1951-1999) contain enrollment lists, annual reports, and Dean's honors lists, and scholastic averages for the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. The collection also contains memoranda, blank registration forms, and assorted documents from the Office of the Registrar.

The Nevada Southern University Football Scrapbook (approximately 1960-1968) contains one scrapbook with newspaper clippings highlighting Nevada Southern University's (NSU) men's football team, the Rebels, during the 1968 season and features players such as Mario Aguero, Bill Casey, John Hall, Jim Mathis, and Jimmy Thompson as well as NSU football coach, Bill Ireland. The collection also contains loose newspaper clippings about NSU football and tickets to the inaugural football banquet.
