The collection is comprised of University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) professor, Dr. Patrick W. Carlton's, research files dating from 1982 to 2011 in the "Oral History of the Public School Principalship" Project. The papers include research files about principals in Las Vegas, Nevada and Superintendents on the Clark County School District.

The Hank Castro Music Business Records document Hank Castro's career in the music industry in Las Vegas, Nevada from 1969 to 1990. The bulk of the collection consists of original audio recordings from the Las Vegas Recording Studio. The collection also contains legal documents, personal correspondence, and promotional material related to the Las Vegas Recording Studio (1971-1985), songwriter agreements, and sheet music (the majority of the lyrics written by Hank Castro) from artists represented by the Las Vegas Recording Studio and Castro's other companies.

The Henry Kronberg Papers is comprised of photographs, newspaper clippings, and business records from 1945 to 2017 that document Henry Kronberg's business, Stoney's Pawn Shop, his personal life, and his involvement with the Jewish community in Las Vegas, Nevada. The collection also includes A Place of Hope, a documentary about the Warsaw Remembrance Garden at Temple Beth Sholom in Las Vegas featuring Kronberg.

The University of Nevada, Las Vegas University Libraries Records include reports, subject files, administrative files, communication, and planning records from the James R. Dickinson Library and Lied Library from 1959 to 2015.

The C. Vern Olmstead Professional Papers (1940-1975) contain materials related to Olmstead’s work as a prominent meat industry executive. The collection pertains to the preparation, cutting, storage, marketing, and distribution of meats including beef, pork, and poultry. Materials include reports, correspondence, newspaper and magazine clippings, photographic prints and slides, and publications regarding topics relevant to the handling and sale of meat in the United States and Canada.

The Boardwalk Hotel and Casino Records date from 1993 to 2005 and contain administrative files, gaming projects and systems files, promotional photographs, advertisements, and audiovisual materials pertaining to the Boardwalk Hotel and Casino. The collection also contains material for the Boardwalk under its various names, including the Boardwalk Hotel and Casino, Viscount Hotel, and Holiday Inn Casino Boardwalk.
