Wilma (Frank) Bass (1939- ) is a retired Las Vegas, Nevada jewelry salesperson. Born and raised in New York, New York, Bass graduated from high school around 1958. She married Burt Bass in 1960 and the family moved to Las Vegas in the 1974.

Fogliani, Jack, 1900-1987

John G. (Jack) Fogliani, the eldest son of Lewis and Ceadora Fogliani, was born August 25, 1900 in Pioche, Nevada. Fogliani served as a Nevada Assemblyman for Lincoln County, Nevada from 1935 to 1936, and as a warden for the Nevada State Prison from 1959 to 1967 until he was fired by Governor Paul Laxalt following a prison break. Dokter, Betty Ham, 1922-1990

Betty Ham Dokter was born May 20, 1922 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Church was one of the main activities for everybody in school, and she went to every church in town during the summertime. Dokter graduated from Las Vegas High School in 1940. She met her husband at a drive-in and they got married during World War II.

Fisk, O. J. (Oliver James), 1873-1960

Oliver James (O. J.) Fisk started his career working in mines in California and Nevada. He later became an engineer on the Lake Arrowhead Dam project in California, and went on to be the general manager of the Boss Gold Mining Company in Goodsprings, Nevada until resigning in 1917. He remained a director of the company, and operated the Singer Mine near Goodsprings from 1916 to 1918 with S. E. Yount.

Squires, Charles P. (Charles Pember), 1865-1958

Charles Pember “Pop” Squires was a prominent newspaper editor and publisher in Las Vegas, Nevada. He moved to Las Vegas with his wife Delphine Anderson Squires in 1905 and they participated in the town site’s original land auction that same year. Along with several business partners, Squires opened a bank, a hotel, and an electric company. In 1908 he purchased the Las Vegas Age, one of Las Vegas’s original newspapers. He owned and operated the paper until 1943 when the Las Vegas Review-Journal purchased the Age.

Butterfield, Georgia H. (Georgia Hanna), 1911-1978

Georgia (Hanna) Butterfield was born on November 26, 1911 in Elko, Nevada. The Hanna family was one of the first settler families in Elko, Nevada. Georgia attended Wabash Business College in Salt Lake City, Utah. In 1931, she married Reese Turner. The couple came to Las Vegas in 1937, and Georgia accepted a secretarial position at First National Bank, which is where she eventually met Spencer Butterfield. Reese Turner and Georgia divorced, and Georgia married Spencer Butterfield on May 6, 1944.
