The James Cashman Sr. Photograph Collection (approximately 1905 to 1975) consists of black-and-white photographic prints, negatives, slides, and albums as well as a glass plate negative. The photographs depict four major subjects: Cashman's family, friends, and associates; Cashman's businesses; the Hoover Dam and Colorado River; and various locations across Nevada.

The Robert B. Griffith Collection (1928-1975) documents the work of Robert B. Griffith, an instrumental figure in the development of water resources in Las Vegas, Nevada, as well as the creation of McCarran International Airport and Nellis Air Force Base. The collection consists of Colorado River Commission papers, 1928 International Air Race documents, general correspondence, a feasibility study, an airport guide, American Legion papers, the memoirs of Alfred Merritt Smith, and death and burial records belonging to his father. The collection also includes slides from various countries, including the United States, Canada, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East.

The United States National Park Service Photograph Collection is comprised of black-and-white photographic prints and negatives from approximately 1925 to 1950. Images include construction and remediation projects in Boulder City, Nevada; including Hoover Dam, Lake Mead, and the surrounding recreation area. Also included are images of the Lost City Museum in Overton, Nevada and Fort Churchill in Lyon County, Nevada; construction of tourist facilities at the Valley of Fire in southern Nevada; and landscapes taken along the Colorado River in Arizona and Utah.
