The John S. Wright Faculty Papers (1951-1975) are comprised of faculty papers from and about Dr. John S. Wright who was considered one of the founding faculty members at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV). The collection documents Wright's involvement in establishing UNLV as a separate university from the University of Nevada, Reno. The collection includes memoranda, correspondence, meeting minutes, and reports from different committees Wright was a part of including Academic Council, Faculty Senate, and other ad hoc committees.
Bennett was requesting the name of the chairman of the Senate Interior and Insular Affairs Committee as well as members so see if there were any that he could influence for a favorable passage of the water district right-of-way bills.
The Vern Lanegrasse Papers (1961-2010) consist of materials from the Brotherhood of the Knights of the Vine and the California Restaurant Writers Association as well as event programs, menus, and other materials related to food and wine.
Palace Hotel, Goldfield, Nevada, September 14, 1905. There is an inscription on the back of the image: "Palace Hotel on the corner of Main and Crook, decorated for the Railroad Days celebration. Arrival of the Goldfield Railroad was a milestone in the camp's history. Later merged with the Tonopah Railroad to form the T. & G. R.R., it was the first of 4 railroads to serve Goldfield." There is a date stamp: February 1980.
