The Richard B. Taylor Photograph Collection (approximately 1957-1991) consists of black-and-white and color photographic prints and negatives. The images depict Taylor alongside Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity brothers playing table games and seated at a bar inside the Arizona Club in Las Vegas, Nevada. Additional images portray Taylor’s home on Trotter Circle in Las Vegas decorated for Halloween.

The Florence and Jerry Vallen Faculty Papers (approximately 1935-2017) are comprised of personal papers and research files for Florence and Jerry Vallen, the founding dean of the College of Hotel Administration at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV). The collection includes research files and drafts for In the Right Place, which was co-authored by Florence and Jerry Vallen. The collection also includes research files and drafts for Jerry Vallen's book, Check-In Check-Out. Other materials in this collection are comprised primarily of awards commemorating Jerry Vallen for achievements with UNLV's College of Hotel Administration, press clippings, and photographic prints and slides taken by the Vallens on vacations in China and Williamsburg, Virginia.

The Edward G. Halligan Photograph Collection on the Nevada Test Site contains photographs of nuclear detonations at the Nevada Test Site from the 1960s. The photographs primarily depict aboveground nuclear explosions, but they also contain photographs of facilities, machinery, and personnel at the Nevada Test Site.

The Mike Smith Editorial Cartoons (1980-2023) contain editorial cartoons created by Las Vegas, Nevada based cartoonist Mike Smith for the Las Vegas Sun newspaper. Materials include Smith's editorial cartoons on NASCAR and a copy of his 2003 book StockcarToons. The collection also includes Smith's personal sketchbooks and letters from fans.

The Robert Beckmann Professional Papers (approximately 1964-2020) include photographs, sketches, plans, and proposals for murals and art installations that Beckmann designed or painted in the Las Vegas, Nevada area. The collection also includes correspondence, awards, and promotional materials for art exhibitions featuring Beckmann and other artists.

The Walking Box Ranch Collection (1917-2011) includes material collected by the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) Public Lands Institute on the Searchlight, Nevada ranch. Materials include a maps related to the construction and operation of the ranch, a pair of chaps owned by Rex Bell, Jr., and color slides of the ranch. Also included are photographic prints of Rex Bell and Rex Bell, Jr., and newsclippings related to the film and political career of Rex Bell. A small number of newsclippings pertain to the career of Rex Bell, Jr.
