Additionally, the collection chronicles the lives of many students after graduation through school reunion documentation from the 1970s to 2017. The collection also includes planning files for class reunion celebrations including the 40th, 50th, and 55th reunions.

O'Farrell Papers (1900-1999) are comprised of scientific reports collected by Thomas O’Farrell over the course of his career studying wildlife ecology, particularly its connection to nuclear radiation. The Generations of the Shoah - Nevada (GS-N) records (approximately 2001-2020) are mainly comprised of meeting notes, correspondence, fliers, event programs, speeches, planning documents, scrapbooks, exhibit panels, and educational materials created by GS-N president Esther Finder and collaborators in the Las Vegas, Nevada Jewish community and the international Holocaust education and remembrance community. The collection also includes personal stories of Holocaust survivors and their families, which are recorded in virtual books, publications, videotaped interviews, and Las Vegas, Nevada filmmaker Brett Levner's videos: Holocaust Survivors Reflect and Passing the Torch.

MGM Grand Hotel Fire Litigation Collection

Abstract

The MGM Grand Hotel Fire Litigation Collection dates from 1970 to 1982. The collection is comprised of litigation documentation stemming from the November 21, 1980 MGM Grand Hotel fire that killed 85 people and injured 700. Included in the documentation are descriptions of construction materials and furnishings, abstracts of transcribed depositions, a list of companies that were involved with the construction of the MGM Grand, a list of MGM Grand employees, and a list of attorneys involved with the litigation. Also included in this collection is a transcript from a Nova television broadcast "Why America Burns" and copies of the 1970 Building Code and Mechanical Code. Seven rolls of microfilm contain MGM Grand blueprints.
