On November 3, 1978, Jane P. Kowalewski interviewed Mazie Martin Jones (born in Las Vegas, Nevada) about her father, Doctor Roy Martin, the first doctor to own a private practice in Las Vegas. Jones explains how her father first arrived in Nevada and his different investments in real estate, hospitals, and hotels. She goes on to explain her father’s hotel pursuits after retiring from medicine in the late forties.

On March 12, 1977, Lance Kenny interviewed realtor, Doris Evans (born in Dexter, Missouri) at her place of business, Doris Evans Realty, located at 1100 Cahlan Drive, Las Vegas, Nevada. This interview covers Boulder City and Las Vegas [1937-1977]. During the interview Doris discusses real estate, local hotels, early transportation, and social recreation. She also mentions the nuclear tests, crime, environmental changes, and marriage and family life in Boulder City and Las Vegas. Doris’s business partner, Patty (Renette Beringer), is also present during the interview and helps Doris recall the year they started Doris Evans Realty in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The Gilbert Buck Papers on southern and central Nevada (1950-1984) focus on water, sewer, public lands, (master reports, designs, standards, flood and drainage reports, and land specifications) and real estate (reports, housing and mobile home development information, newsletters, surveys, and Buck Realty negotiations). Also included are the books and information on seminars Gilbert Buck hosted on investing in raw land.

The business and financial series (1908-1982) contains the family’s business and financial records. The series centers on Leonard’s files on the family's real estate properties within Boggs building, located in downtown Las Vegas, his Quality Bakery storefront, and family businesses, such as the Fayle Hotel (Goodsprings Hotel) and their grocery store. The series also contains financial documents, insurance policies, and stock in various companies.

Series V contains miscellaneous materials on social and cultural community issues in Las Vegas. These materials include newspaper clippings and lengthy news editorials on general Las Vegas and Nevada history, as well as two Las Vegas High School Reunion Yearbooks from 1983 that contain remembrances and biographical sketches from graduates of the classes of 1935 and 1936. There are two guides showing the state of the real estate market in the late 1980s.
