The Barbara Tabach Papers (1978-2022) mainly contain project files kept by oral historian Barbara Tabach throughout her experiences managing different oral history community documentation projects for the Oral History Research Center at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) from 2010 to 2022. Oral history projects represented in this collection include Documenting the African American Experience in Las Vegas, Nevada, Southern Nevada Jewish Heritage Project, Latinx Voices of Southern Nevada, Remembering 1 October, and The Great Pause: Las Vegas Chronicles of the Covid-19 Pandemic. The majority of the collection represents Tabach's involvement as project manager for the Southern Nevada Jewish Heritage Project. Other materials include correspondence, newspaper clippings, event invitations, interview questions, memorabilia and books gifted to Tabach from oral history narrators, and publicity for the projects.

Oral history interview with Shawn Willis conducted by Barbara Tabach on May 05, 2017 for the Southern Nevada Jewish Heritage Project. Willis shares her journey to "acknowledging" being a Jew, a transformation that occurred after moving to Las Vegas, Nevada in 2004. She also talks about her role as the Director of the Jewish National Fund.

Oral history interview with Joshua Abbey conducted by Barbara Tabach on June 06, 2016 for the Southern Nevada Jewish Heritage Project. In this interview, Joshua Abbey discusses his acting career, starting the Las Vegas Jewish Film Festival, being the founder of CineVegas Film Festival, his non-profit work, and being a part of the Nevada Arts Council.

Oral history interview with Jacqueline "Jaki" Baskow conducted by Barbara Tabach on October 24, 2016 for the Southern Nevada Jewish Heritage Project. Baskow shares stories of entertainers that she has worked with in Las Vegas, Nevada to build her business, Baskow and Associates. She also mentions mentors such as Bobby Morris, Frank Sinatra, and Jilly Rizzo.

Oral history interview with Michael Saltman conducted by Barbara Tabach on December 16, 2014 for the Southern Nevada Jewish Heritage Project. Saltman talks about doing business in Las Vegas, Nevada over the years, being Jewish, his wife Sonja serving on the Anti-Defamation League, and other topics pertaining to him being a businessman.

Oral history interview with Fran Fine conducted by Barbara Tabach on March 04, 2015 for the Southern Nevada Jewish Heritage Project. Fine talks about her career as an attorney and family court judge. She also discusses her activity in Las Vegas, Nevada’s Jewish education, women's philanthropy and the Las Vegas Jewish Federation.

Oral history interview with Harry Fagel conducted by Barbara Tabach on April 15, 2016 and January 13, 2017 for the Southern Nevada Jewish Heritage Project. Fagel discusses being raised in the Jewish community of Las Vegas, Nevada and how the city has changed over the decades. He also talks about his career as a police lieutenant and a published poet.
