Oral history interview with Lisa Hank conducted by Barbara Tabach on May 31, 2019 for the Remembering 1 October Oral History Project.
Lisa discusses her move to Las Vegas in the early 1990s from California for a job with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, and her current position as head of the Police Employee Assistance Program (PEAP). Lisa talks about the night of October 1 and the aftermath of the shooting, both in her work and personal life. She is the wife of Charles Hank III, police officer and another interviewee for the Remembering 1 October Oral History Project.

Fox, Jerry, 1937-
Jerry Fox (1937- ) is a Las Vegas, Nevada businessman who owned Foxy Dog restaurant, several gift shops, Lasting Memories camera company, and Vegas Threadz wholesale embroidery company. He was born December 29, 1937, to Abe and Ellena Fox in Los Angeles, California. The Fox family moved to Las Vegas in February 1955, where Abe opened Foxy’s Delicatessen, the city’s first Jewish deli. After graduating from Las Vegas High School in 1956, Jerry Fox worked at Foxy's Deli for about ten years.

Maurice, Dick
Talk show host and columnist Dick Maurice was born on November 5, 1946 in Connecticut where he spent his formative years. In 1965, he enrolled at Northeast Broadcasting School in Boston, Massachusetts. After graduation he moved to New York City, New York where he stayed until the fall of 1975 when an agreement was reached with Red Gilson, general manager of KSHO-TV, an ABC affiliate, to give Maurice his own morning TV talk show in Las Vegas, Nevada.
