Oral history interview with Tom Maveal conducted by Cheryl Peters on April 13, 2004 for the Public School Principalship Oral History Project. In this interview, Maveal reflects upon his nearly 30-year career as a teacher and administrator with Nevada’s Clark County School District from the 1970s to the 2000s. He discusses his experience working in special education and magnet programs, his approach to education, and the process by which he became a principal. Oral history interview with Joan and Leslie Dunn conducted by Barbara Tabach on June 20, 2016 and May 30, 2017 for the Southern Nevada Jewish Heritage Project. Leslie discusses working for the United States Public Health Service at the Nevada Test Site for twenty years and launching a development business after retirement. Joan discusses setting aside her career to begin a family and later becoming a business partner with her husband.

Oral history interview with Daniel Connell conducted by Shirley Emerson on November 18, 2013 for the West Charleston Neighborhoods: An Oral History Project of Ward 8. In this interview Daniel Connell discusses moving to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1954, marrying his wife Linda after returning from the military, and moving to the Westleigh neighborhood of Ward 1 in 1973. He also talks about his family life, the state of his neighborhood throughout the years, and being hired by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department.

Oral history interview with Evelyn and J.C. Gamble conducted by Claytee D. White on August 31, 2010 for the Boyer Early Las Vegas Oral History Project. In this interview, Evelyn discusses living on the Westside in the 1950s and describes the development of that area. J.C. recalls his years in the United States Air Force and experiences stationed at Nellis Air Force Base. Lastly, J.C. describes why the Westside was off limits for active Air Force members, and the two speak about their employment at the Nevada Test Site.
