I agree.The regular meeting of the Goldfield Womans Club was held at the Club House May 10, 1923. The meeting was called to order by the President Mrs. Sprague the roll was called with eleven members responding. The minutes of the previous meeting was read and approved. The treasurer reported a balance of 32.15 in the bank. A letter was read from Mrs. Mills an absent member residing in Reno. It was moved and seconded that a check for $5.00 be given to Mrs. Ricketts for water used by the club during the year.Mrs. W.J. Phillips name was proposed for membership by Mrs. Harry Moon. It was moved and seconded that the Club help Dr. Blake in every way in his clinic work which he will start this summer and fall for children. Mrs. Ricketts was appointed director; to succeed Mrs. Foster who was unable to fill that office; until fall when another will be appointed. It was moved and seconded that we postpone Japanese Day until next fall. Current Events were called for most of the members present contributing. No other business being before the club it adjourned and Mrs. Sprague entertained the members and guests with an auction party followed by delicious refreshments and beautiful prize to the winner.Christine Hillebert Sec.
