The Nevada research files (1960-2010) sub-series consists of research files, reprints, correspondence and manuscript drafts related to Ash Meadows, Sunset Park, Wetlands Park, and assorted locations throughout Nevada. The records also contain HRA Inc., Conservation Archaeology research files and maps of the Southwestern United States.

Materials include economic impact reports, student handbooks, accreditation self-evaluation reports, business surveys, activity reports, memoranda from the Dean's office, and copies of Lieder, a publication created by the Lied Institute of Real Estate Studies and published by the College of Business and Economics.

Materials include photographs of the Brockman, Lisle, Revert, Crowell, Lemmon, Palsgrove, and Reidhead families, documenting activities such as events on Main Street, construction of several buildings, protests against the Nevada Test Site, animal husbandry, railroad transportation (especially by the Tonopah and Tidewater Railroad), education, and mining and milling.
