Video opens with a Stardust Hotel and Casino craps game, while a voiceover describes Las Vegas as "Lost Vegas" and "Lost Wages" but that tourists and locals live together side-by-side. Reporter explains the population is rapidly growing, and many Californians and San Diegans are moving to the city, as it rebrands from "Sin City" to a reasonable, welcoming place to live. Special news segment, "Newsmakers" with John Bonds who profiles Aki, the "Enter the Night" showgirl from the Stardust Hotel. Aki and John sit down and begin talking about costumes and the designs of various dresses throughout the show, and a benefit gala that recently took place. Aki discusses her career path, first in her home country of Holland, then Monte Carlo, Paris, and now Las Vegas, while clips of the "Enter the Night" show and Aki performing appear on screen. The two discuss the impact of the recent movie "Showgirls" and how it has negatively impacted the Las Vegas showgirls and how they are perceived. Description

Topless showgirls in full costume pose, one at a time, in Lido costume and headdress. They gesture, sometimes moving their arms and costumes, while smiling or staring into the camera. They are wearing pink, red, green, orange, yellow, and blue feathered headpieces and boas. They all have jeweled bikini bottoms and necklaces. One segment shows footage of Paris scenes that was used in and to promote the show. Title cards with information about the show appear infront of neon signs. Another segment shows all the showgirls together, posing to show only their feathered costumes, before revealing a posed showgirl. Description

Oral history interview with Paul Chestovich conducted by Barbara Tabach on March 7, 2018 for the Remembering 1 October Oral History Project. In this interview, doctor Paul Chestovich describes the events on the night of the October 1, 2017 mass shooting in Las Vegas, Nevada at the University Medical Center (UMC). He discusses how he heard about the shooting and rushed to UMC to help the patients as a trauma surgeon. Doctor Chestovich shares some specific cases from that night and his emotional reaction to the shooting.
