The Governor’s Conference on Nevada’s Library and Information Needs Collection (1978-1979) consists of the Nevada Libraries Your Winning Card scrapbook containing photographs, correspondence, and newspaper articles documenting the conference. Included are advertisements and fliers promoting “Speak Outs” along with resolutions and final reports on the success of the conference. Also included are Speak Out day tracks, slides of the events, and a booklet dedicated to Nevada’s delegates.

The UNLV Libraries Collection of Chinese and Soviet Union Communist Party Publications (1960-1968) consists of small format publications in English by the Chinese and Soviet Union Communist Parties. Topics covered in the literature include labor disputes, trade unions, housing, higher education, and general education about the Communist Party. The majority of the material is published by either the Foreign Languages Press in Peking or the Novosti Press Agency Publishing House in Moscow. The collection also contains three issues of Peking Review and an anti-Vietnam War pamphlet produced by the Socialist Workers Party.

The Las Vegas-Clark County Consolidation Records (1976-1989) consist of newspaper articles, interviews, and legislative records. Material was donated by Jim Azar from his research for a professional paper in Public Administration, at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, "Blurred Boundaries and Business Licensing," which he completed in 1993.

The Mary Kozlowski Pichot Papers document the environmental activism of Mary Kozlowski Pichot from 1969 to 1991. The collection focuses on the environmental groups and planning committees that Pichot belonged to, including Aquavision, the Citizens' Advisory Committee, and Las Vegas 2000 and Beyond. The materials address water conservation plans, pollution alleviation efforts, and strategies to clean the Las Vegas Wash and Las Vegas Bay in Nevada.

The John Myron Partridge Photographs contain eleven black-and-white photographs of John Myron Partridge from roughly the early 1940s to the late 1960s. The collection includes portraits and photographs of Partridge during his service with the United States Navy Reserves.

The Mary Griffith Toleno Photograph Collection contains photographs of Nevada from approximately 1875 to 1964. The materials include photographs of Fort Churchill, the Virginia and Truckee Railroad, the New York Mine in Silver City, Virginia City, buildings in Lovelock, Nevada, and locations in Carson City, Nevada and Reno, Nevada. The materials also include photographs of the Griffith family and friends.

Collection is comprised of the organizational records of the Nevada Nurses Association dating from 1945 through 1995. Topics addressed by the material include Planned Parenthood, state legislature on health care, the Equal Rights Amendment (ERA), and League of Women Voters. Types of material in the collection include clippings, association history, membership information, receipts, correspondence, convention notes and programs, alumni directory, newsletters, pamphlets, meeting minutes, and scrapbooks.
