The Nan Doughty Family Collection dates from 1845 to 1993 and documents Doughty's personal and professional life. She collected correspondence and papers related to her extended family members including Sallie Bradford, Seymour Kimball Bradford, William Hillman Shockley, and May Bradford Shockley. The collection also includes papers from her father, Thorwald A. Siegfriedt, and her mother, Lou-vee Bradford Siegfried. Doughty used her family histories to write historical essays about early Nevada. The collection includes her professional papers as well as drafts and correspondence related to her writings.

The Minnie Perchetti Photograph Collection (approximately 1902-1959) consists of black-and-white photographic prints and negatives of Tonopah, Nevada and documents Tonopah in the first half of the 20th century. The photographs depict mines, events, buildings, people, and landscapes in Tonopah, Nevada. Included in the collection are photographs of the 1923 fire in Goldfield, Nevada.

The Siegfried and Roy Memorabilia Collection (1990-2000) consists of books, magazines, programs, and visual recordings from the shows of Las Vegas, Nevada entertainers Siegfried and Roy. Several of the books and magazines in the collection have been autographed by Siegfried and Roy.

The Coates Playing Cards Collection (1920s-1960s) consists of sixty-six decks of playing cards collected by Mrs. Phillip A. Coates. The collection includes promotional decks from various businesses, including the Southern Pacific Lines railroad and the Grace Line steamship company. The majority of the decks are of a narrower design to be used in playing canasta or bridge, with many being multi-deck sets.

The May Bradford Photograph Collection (1870-1976) consists primarily of black-and-white photographs depicting Bradford's life including her time in Tonopah, Nevada. The collection also includes images of her early life and her family in Missouri. Other photographs document her son as an infant, as well as the family's time spent living abroad.

The Donald Welch Photograph Collection (approximately 1961-1981) is comprised of photographs of various golf tournaments hosted at the Desert Inn Country Club in Las Vegas, Nevada collected by Welch throughout his career as the Desert Inn's head golf professional. In particular, the collection includes two photograph albums depicting the Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) Sealy golf tournament in the early 1970s and a 25th anniversary Desert Inn Country Club commemorative photograph book from 1981.

The collection includes a wide variety of photographs that document the activities, landmarks, geographical features, towns, ranches, and families of Nye County. The collection covers the areas of Amargosa Valley, Ash Meadows, Beatty, Duckwater, Gabbs, Goldfield, Kawich Mountains, Manhattan, Pahrump, Round Mountain, Rhyolite, Smoky Valley, Springdale, Tecopa, Tonopah, and Twin Springs. The activities documented include mining, prospecting, herding animals, schooling, ranching, building construction, railroad construction, and hunting and fishing.
