The Siegfried and Roy Memorabilia Collection (1990-2000) consists of books, magazines, programs, and visual recordings from the shows of Las Vegas, Nevada entertainers Siegfried and Roy. Several of the books and magazines in the collection have been autographed by Siegfried and Roy.

Biographical / Historical Note
Las Vegas, Nevada entertainers and magicians Siegfried and Roy held a popular show at the Mirage Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas from 1990 to 2003. Both from Germany, Siegfried Fischbacher was born in 1939 and Roy Horn was born in 1944. The couple moved to the United States and became naturalized citizens in the 1980s. By 1990 they began headlining a magic show at the Mirage Hotel and Casino on the Las Vegas Strip famous for its illusions and live tigers. For over a decade the show remained one of the most popular attractions in Las Vegas. In 2003 an incident with one of the show's tigers resulted in severe injuries to Roy Horn. This prompted the abrupt end of the Siegfried and Roy show. The couple has since retired and resides in Las Vegas.
