The University of Nevada, Las Vegas Department of Health and Physical Education Records (1957-1997) is comprised of University of Nevada, Las Vegas records primarily dealing with the reorganization of departments from 1994-1997. Materials include national studies, internal memos, newspaper articles, public correspondences, and histories of the university, relevant departments, and professors.

The National Gambling Impact Study Commission (NGISC) files document NGISC’s efforts to survey gambling in the United States dating from approximately 1980 to 2002, with the bulk of materials dating from 1997 to 1999. Spilde worked on a subcommittee of the commission that researched the impacts of Native American gaming and non-Native American gaming on Native American and non-Native American communities. The materials include NGISC testimonies; agendas; memos from NGISC, the National Indian Gaming Association (NIGA), and the National Indian Gaming Commission (NIGC); correspondence from corporations and private communities regarding their support of Native American gaming; socioeconomic reports; journal articles; and newspaper articles. The socioeconomic reports investigate a number of topics such as state lotteries, Native American gaming, and advertising.

The Alice Elizabeth Farrar Quay Family Papers are comprised of newspaper clippings, photographs, and correspondence dating from approximately 1830 to 1960 collected by Alice Elizabeth Farrar Quay documenting the Farrar Quay family's relation to Benjamin Harrison. The collection includes information about Alice Elizabeth Farrar Quay's inquiries into her relation to Benjamin Harrison V, Governor of Colonial Virginia and signer of the Declaration of Independence, and presidents William Henry Harrison. The collection also includes American Civil War correspondence of Colonel (later General and President) Benjamin Harrison and other family members.
