Oral history interview with Jeffrey Coller conducted by Claytee D. White on July 25, 2017 for the Boyer Early Las Vegas Oral History Project. In this interview, Coller discusses growing up in Las Vegas, Nevada. He recalls attending Bishop Gorman High School, becoming an emancipated minor, and his employment at the El Cortez Hotel and Casino. Coller talks about joining the United States Marine Corps, relocating to Reno, Nevada, and his experience in the hospitality industry. Coller describes the various jobs he had at Harrah’s Reno, advancing up to assistant hotel manager, and his career shift to real estate development. Later, Coller discusses his work in production housing, building communities, and returning to Las Vegas in 1992. Lastly, Coller talks about the growth of his real estate business and getting involved in real estate syndication.

Russell Terbeek born in Cleveland in 1956. His uncle was a bell captain at Circus Circus, so he told Russell about their dealer program, and Russell came to Las Vegas, Nevada to be in it. Russell worked for Circus Circus in various properties in Las Vegas and Laughlin, Nevada for fifteen years. After he went to the Edgewater in Laughlin, he became back-up shift boss. At the Rio he was the table games division training manager. Russell also worked at the Treasure Island, Harrah's, and the Sahara. He helped open New York-New York in 1997.

Oral history interviews with Rosemary Q. Flores conducted by Elsa Lopez on October 16, 2018 and October 29, 2018 for the Latinx Voices of Southern Nevada Oral History Project. In these interviews, Flores discusses her family background and early life in Reno, Nevada. She recalls her father’s decision to move to Nevada in search of job opportunities. Flores then describes her move to Sonora, Mexico with her siblings and compares schooling in Sonora and Reno. She talks about moving back to Reno, her employment at Harrah’s Reno Hotel and Casino while still in school, and recalls graduating in the top twenty of her high school class. Later, Flores discusses her experiences attending the University of Nevada, Reno, the struggles of being Latina in higher education, and the influence that multicultural education has on her. She talks about moving to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1997 and her involvement with the Multicultural Education Services Alliance (MESA) at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Lastly, Flores recalls co-founding a nonprofit organization, The Family Leadership Initiative.

Kevin Brady was born in Chicago, Illinois and grew up in Pennsylvania. Brady started in the gaming industry in 1993 as a surveillance officer for Players International Lake Charles and eventually became a surveillance supervisor at Paragon Casino Resort. He later became a surveillance manager and casino controller at Harrah’s St. Louis where he worked in finance while also earning his master’s degree in business administration.
