Files in this series represent tutorials created by UNLV student data curation specialist, Miranda Barrie, in 2018 to teach users on how to collect, organize, and analyze Twitter data. The tutorials referenced UNLV's 1 October Twitter dataset to illustrate the procedures for curating and analyzing Twitter data.

The First Methodist Church Photograph Collection (approximately 1909-1912) contains black-and-white photographic prints and corresponding negatives of the Las Vegas train depot, railroad yards, and the First Methodist Church in Las Vegas, Nevada. Also included are portraits of Reverend Edwin A. Palmer and his family.
The First Good Shepherd Lutheran Church Photograph Collection, approximately 1930 to 1950, consists of black-and-white photographic prints and negatives depicting the construction of the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Las Vegas, Nevada. Also included are images of parish leaders and the ground breaking ceremony for the grand opening.
The International Food Service Executives Association (IFSEA) Photograph Collection is comprised of panoramas, stills, and posed photographs of IFSEA members from 1914 to 1965.
The UNLV Libraries Collection of Tropicana Resorts Publicity and Press Materials includes equity research reports, press kits, press releases, promotional materials, and newspaper and magazine clippings for Tropicana Las Vegas in Las Vegas, Nevada, and Tropicana Atlantic City in Atlantic City, New Jersey, dating from 1958 to 2010.

This collection is comprised of research files dating from approximately 1980 to 2021 created by Boulder City Nevadan, Dennis McBride, primarily in support of his book, Out of the Neon Closet: A History of Gay Las Vegas on the history of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, gay, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ) community in Southern Nevada. Materials in this collection also include ephemera and clippings documenting LGBTQ establishments and organizations in Las Vegas, biographies of individuals, and other issues pertinent to the LGBTQ community. This collection also includes some materials about the LGBTQ community and their issues in Northern Nevada. The collection represents McBride's overall efforts to document and preserve the history of the LGBTQ community in Nevada.
The Southern Nevada Jewish Heritage Project Community Collection is comprised of organizational records, photographs, event programs, and ephemera donated by members of the Southern Nevada Jewish community as part of the University of Nevada, Las Vegas University Libraries’ Southern Nevada Jewish Heritage Project. Materials document the history of the Jewish community and Southern Nevada from 1941 to 2017. The collection provides information about family life, religious rituals, community events, and local businesses and organizations.
The Elsie and Richard Goldsworthy Collection on Las Vegas Ephemera (1960-1999) contains ephemera from hotels and casinos in Las Vegas, Nevada and includes programs, table tents, and postcards. There is additional material created by the Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce and invitations to special events hosted by various Las Vegas dignitaries. Additional materials includes programs and fliers from local theater companies in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The Governor’s Conference on Nevada’s Library and Information Needs Collection (1978-1979) consists of the Nevada Libraries Your Winning Card scrapbook containing photographs, correspondence, and newspaper articles documenting the conference. Included are advertisements and fliers promoting “Speak Outs” along with resolutions and final reports on the success of the conference. Also included are Speak Out day tracks, slides of the events, and a booklet dedicated to Nevada’s delegates.
