Oral history interview with Simeon Holloway conducted by Claytee D. White on April 18, 2013 for the African Americans in Las Vegas: A Collaborative Oral History Project. In this interview Simeon Holloway describes moving to Las Vegas, Nevada after pursing an acting career in Los Angeles, California. He also talks about his friendship with composer and fellow Kappa Alpha Psi brother, Jester Hairston. He also discusses being active in the church and being a successful investor in the real estate market.

Oral history interview with Irene Sprague Black conducted by Chari Horne on March 16, 1978 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. During this interview Black discusses early Las Vegas, Nevada, local schools, homes, friends, family life, and the Mormon Church. Black also discusses Mesquite, Nevada, Indian Reservations, Downtown Las Vegas, Nevada, the Hoover Dam, and Bunkerville, Nevada.

Oral history interview with Betty Ham Dokter conducted by Roger Jablonski on February 27, 1977 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. Dokter describes church activity and the first casino properties that were built. She later talks about presidential visits, economic changes in Nevada, and the construction of Hoover Dam. The latter part of the interview covers the topics of racial minorities, as well as social and environmental changes.

Oral history interview with Elizabeth Garrison conducted by Walter John Ritzau on February 25, 1977 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. Garrison first talks about her schooling in Las Vegas, Nevada, the atomic testing, the Devils Hole in Ash Meadows, early church involvement, and some of the environmental aspects of Las Vegas. Garrison later describes her work for the Central Telephone Company and the Helldorado Parade.
