(THEY CROSS toward the CENTER of the STAGE as the LIGHTS BLEED-THRU to reveal church yard. The PREACHER stands reading the marriage service over the SIX BROTHERS and the SIX GIRLS. To one side stands a grim, determined father or friend of each bride, their rifles pointed at the PONTIPEE BROTHERS. The other TOWNSPEOPLE stand watching, a look of righteous satisfaction on their faces. MILLY and ADAM join the group, as TRAVELER OPENS.
