The first man behind the horses is my great-grandfather John Peter Wright (1870-1903). My grandfather was in the process of dying from silicosis having worked in the Delamar mines. He was a freighter-because he could not do hard labor. W. I. Booth photographer. Wells Nevada."
Shown is the Last Frontier stagecoach riding through the streets during the 1948 Helldorado Parade. Helen Connors, head auditor of the Last Frontier, is seated on the second seat of the wagon next to the little boy. Stamped on the back of the photograph, "Photo by Cliff Freemyer 1830 Roosevelt Ph. 3890 North Las Vegas, Nevada."
