Oral history interview with Greg Thompson conducted by Jim Colleran on March 17, 1978 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. Newman discusses her early life and why she moved to Las Vegas, Nevada. She discusses changes in the city from housing developments to growth in education due to the construction of additional schools and the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. She also discusses the construction of new hotels and resorts. Newman later describes the growth of the Girl Scouts in Las Vegas.

Oral history interview with Richard T. Crawford conducted by Claytee D. White on April 30, 2014 for the Boyer Early Las Vegas Oral History Project. In this interview, Crawford discusses his employment at 7-Eleven as a store auditor. He describes opening the first retail establishment in Green Valley, Nevada, Green Valley Grocery Store, and describes the history of his business. Oral history interview with Richard E. Strahlem conducted by Jacqueline R. Hall on March 12, 1980 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. In this interview, Strahlem discusses arriving to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1958 in search of job opportunities. Strahlem then describes the local businesses that he worked with and recalls the competitive nature of gambling.
