Oral history interview with Mary Habbart conducted by David R. Patt on March 07, 1975 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. Oral history interview with Sarah Bartlett conducted by Sydney Bartlett on December 10, 2022 for the Reflections: the Las Vegas Asian American and Pacific Islander Oral History Project. In this interview, Sarah recalls immigrating from Quezon City, Philippines as a young woman to Toronto, Canada. She recalls her childhood being full of rich cultural traditions, lots of family bonding time, and working to help support her family. Despite not having a college education, she secured a career as a title officer at Chicago Title, a position which she has held for twenty-five years. Sarah eventually met her husband, who shared a Filipino ancestry, and moved from Canada to Las Vegas, Nevada. Here they built their own life together, and despite hardships throughout her life, Sarah cherishes the unique experiences she has had living in Las Vegas.

Oral history interview with Jan Jones conducted by Dennis McBride on March 26, 1998 for the Las Vegas Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgender Archives Oral History Project. In this interview, Jones discusses moving to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1981 and describes the car dealership commercials she was involved in with Kenny Kerr in the 1980s. Jones recalls the No Hate rallies that were organized in Nevada to support gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender people. She then talks about the backlash she received as Mayor of Las Vegas because of her support for the gay community.

Oral history interview with Jim Gans conducted by Claytee D. White on January 30, 2013 for the Boyer Early Las Vegas Oral History Project. Gans discusses working as an electrician and attending the Aviation Academy in Reno, Nevada and then as a flight instructor there. He also discusses working in measuring radioactivity from nuclear testing, working at the Clark County Sanitation, and at the Las Vegas, Nevada Convention and Visitors Authority as a vice president there.

Oral history interview with Richard Bryan conducted by Claytee D. White on November 30, 2017 for the Boyer Early Las Vegas Oral History Project. In this interview, Bryan discusses growing up in Las Vegas, Nevada. He recalls attending Fifth Street Grammar School and Las Vegas High School. Bryan talks about the Helldorado Parade, his father’s employment at Basic Magnesium Incorporated, and attending the University of Nevada, Reno. He recalls going to law school, becoming a district attorney, being elected a Nevada State Senator, and serving as the Nevada Attorney General. Lastly, Bryan discusses his reason for attending law school and pursuing a career in law.

In this interview, Sparrow discusses her career as a telephone operator and the history of Las Vegas, Nevada. Sparrow describes her duties as an operator before the advent of the dial system, the growth of Las Vegas, and life in the city during the 1950s.
