Oral history interview with Jo Mueller conducted by Claytee D. White on August 26, 2011 for the Boyer Early Las Vegas Oral History Project. Mueller discusses moving to Las Vegas, Nevada with her husband, Hal Mueller, in 1956 so he could work for the federal government as a meteorologist and was involved with nuclear testing. She also discusses raising their two children and her involvement in the Parent Teacher Association, Weight Watchers, and the League of Women Voters.

Oral history interview with Junell Bowman conducted by Anna Huddleston on March 09, 2014 for the Boyer Early Las Vegas Oral History Project. Bowman begins by describing her early history as a singer in California, performing on the radio, different orchestras, and nightclubs before marrying her husband and moving to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1958. Bowman discusses becoming a sketch artist after managing an unsuccessful business, doing portraits and caricatures of people in the casinos, at conventions, and on the Las Vegas Strip. She talks about the celebrities and entertainers she met and did caricatures for while working at casinos like the Stardust and Riviera, and the amount of work that went into being a professional sketch artist.

Oral history interview with John E. Jeffrey conducted by Frank Vivirito on April 01, 1976 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. Jeffrey discusses his occupational history, the disparity of work conditions and opportunities for Black and Mexican workers in the Henderson, Nevada magnesium plant, and his family’s medical history.

Oral history interview with Richard Plaster conducted by Claytee D. White and Stefani Evans on March 21, 2017 for the Building Las Vegas Oral History Project. In this interview, Plaster discusses his early life in Santa Monica, California, and moving to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1973. He recalls his early interests in real estate, forming his company Signature Homes, and the first home building projects he was involved in. Lastly, Plaster describes land acquisition during the late 1970s, building mass housing, and his role as President of the Southern Nevada Home Builders Association (SNHBA).

Oral history interview with Leora M. Wilcox conducted by Alex D’Andrea on January 14, 1981 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. Wilcox discusses arriving to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1945, and shares her disappointment upon arrival. Wilcox also describes what it was like to live in Las Vegas and Henderson, Nevada while efforts for World War II were taking place. Wilcox later describes some of the most noticeable changes throughout Las Vegas, as well as the construction of Boulder (Hoover) Dam.

Oral history interview with Larry Henley conducted by Laura Plowman on May 23, 2007 for the UNLV @ 50 Oral History Project. In this interview Larry Henley discusses moving to Las Vegas, Nevada, attending the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, working at UNLV as a stagehand, getting a professional staff position in 1988, and about working as the director of artistic programming and production at the UNLV Performing Arts Center.

Oral history interview with Marlin Robison conducted by Joni Larsen on March 12, 1981 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. In this interview, Robison discusses his parents moving to Las Vegas, Nevada in the early 1900s. Robison later discusses his career at Clark County Juvenile Court Services. Lastly, Robison discusses changes throughout the city.
