Astrid Silva was born in the state of Durango, Mexico. In 1992, she was barely four years old when immigrated with her mother to the United States. After a few months in Los Angeles, California, her father found a better work situation and relocated the family to Las Vegas, Nevada. Astrid attended Doris Hancock Elementary School, Garside Middle School, and was a 2006 graduate of the Advanced Technology Academy (A-Tech).

The Edythe and Lloyd Katz Photographs (1947-1986) contain photographs of the businesses operated by Las Vegas, Nevada entrepreneurs Edythe and Lloyd Katz. The photographs primarily depict the movie theaters purchased by the Katz Family, including the Guild Theatre (formerly the Palace Theatre) and the Fremont Theatre. The photographs also depict the Katz Family and the Helldorado Days parade.
The Stephn P. Grogan papers is comprised of Grogan's personal papers (approximately 1960 to 2020) that primarily document his career working in the gaming industry in Colorado and Las Vegas, Nevada. The collection documents Grogan's involvement with Vegas Pacific business partnership, Skilleo Games, Action Gaming, and EWM Investments. The collection also includes papers documenting Grogan's business ventures in Colorado as well as his writing career. Included in this collection are drafts of Grogan's novels and plays.
The Grace Hayes Photograph Collection consists of black-and-white photographic prints and negatives from approximately 1890 to 1980. The collection includes personal photographs of Hayes and her son Peter Lind Hayes and publicity photographs from Hayes's entertainment career.
